UAE President Performs Eid Al-Fitr Prayer at Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque
Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: Today, President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan led worshippers in performing the Eid Al-Fitr prayer at the iconic Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi.
Accompanying President Sheikh Mohamed were esteemed dignitaries including His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court; H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi; H.H. Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi; H.H. Sheikh Suroor bin Mohammed Al Nahyan; H.H. Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation; H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior; and several other esteemed members of the royal family, senior officials, and worshippers.
During the Eid sermon, Dr. Omar Habtoor Al Darei, Director General of the UAE Council for Fatwa, emphasized the importance of strengthening family bonds to bring joy and harmony into our lives.
Dr. Al Darei also offered prayers for blessings upon everyone during this auspicious occasion and invoked divine blessings for the continued stability and prosperity of the United Arab Emirates.
Following the prayer, President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed exchanged warm greetings with worshippers in celebration of Eid Al-Fitr.
Subsequently, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed visited the tomb of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, where he prayed for the eternal peace of his soul.
The presence of President Sheikh Mohamed and other esteemed dignitaries at Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque underscored the significance of this joyous occasion and highlighted the cherished traditions of unity, prayer, and reflection during Eid Al-Fitr.
