UAE President Receives Head of Uzbekistan’s Presidential Administration
Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: The President of the United Arab Emirates, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, on Saturday received Saida Mirziyoyeva, Head of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
At the outset of the meeting, Ms. Mirziyoyeva conveyed the greetings of Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to His Highness, together with his wishes for the continued progress and prosperity of the UAE. Reciprocating the gesture, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed requested that she convey his greetings to President Mirziyoyev, along with his best wishes for further advancement and prosperity for Uzbekistan and its people.
The two sides reviewed opportunities to further strengthen bilateral cooperation in ways that support the development ambitions of both nations and contribute to the wellbeing of their peoples.
The meeting was attended by His Highness Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, as well as a number of senior officials.
The visit comes weeks after Uzbekistan’s newly appointed Ambassador, Umid Shadiev, presented his credentials to the UAE President at Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi, where Sheikh Mohamed praised the state of bilateral relations and expressed support for expanding cooperation, particularly in trade, investment, economic and tourism sectors. On that occasion, the Uzbek envoy noted that, owing to the political will of the two leaders, high-level relations between the two countries have entered a qualitatively new stage.
The latest high-level engagement reflects the growing momentum in UAE–Uzbekistan relations and the shared commitment of both leaderships to broadening their partnership across multiple sectors.
