Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, held a phone conversation today with Donald Trump, during which the two leaders discussed recent developments in the region and their far-reaching implications for regional and international peace and security.

The discussion also focused on the impact of ongoing tensions on maritime security and the global economy, with both sides emphasizing the importance of ensuring stability in key international shipping routes and safeguarding economic interests.

During the call, the leaders addressed what they described as continued Iranian aggression targeting the UAE and other countries in the region, including attacks on civilians and civilian infrastructure. They noted that such actions constitute violations of national sovereignty and international law, and pose a serious threat to regional security and stability.
