UK High Commissioner Jane Marriott Meets Key Sindh Leaders During Karachi Visit

Karachi, The Gulf Observer: Jane Marriott, the British High Commissioner to Pakistan, paid an official visit to Karachi where she met with prominent political and business leaders, reaffirming the United Kingdom’s commitment to strengthening ties with Pakistan’s economic capital.
During her visit, High Commissioner Marriott held meetings with the Chief Minister of Sindh, Syed Murad Ali Shah, the First Lady of Pakistan, Miss Asifa Bhutto Zardari, and the Governor of Sindh, Mr. Kamran Khan Tesori.
Her engagements in Karachi followed the recent UK–Pakistan Trade Dialogue, and were aimed at enhancing bilateral cooperation in trade, investment, and development.
In a statement following her visit, Jane Marriott expressed optimism:
