Uzbek delegation engages at OECD Eurasia Week in Paris

Paris, The Gulf Observer: Uzbekistan delegation led by the Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade Badriddin Abidov attended several bilateral and international events in Paris.

According to the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade, in particular, during the OECD Eurasia Week, the current economic development of Eurasian countries, and issues of further improving the investment climate, entrepreneurship development, digitalization, transition to a green economy, expansion of transport and logistics corridors of the countries of the region were presented.

As part of Uzbekistan – France political consultations and a joint roundtable discussion with French companies in the MEDEF International, current issues of bilateral cooperation and prospects for enhancing trade, economic and investment partnerships were discussed.

During the visit, meetings were held with OECD Secretary-General Mathias Cormann and other senior staff of the organization.
