Uzbek singer Ravshan Namozov passed away

Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: An honored uzbek artist and singer Ravshan Namozov passes away at the age of 61.

The cause of the singer’s death is not known. At the beginning of this year, Uzbek artists posted on social networks that Ravshan Namozov was being treated at a hematology hospital, he urgently needed blood, and his health was deteriorating.

At that time, Malika Namozova, the singer’s sister, told Daryo.uz that Ravshan Namozov had been struggling with a 2nd degree heart disease for 7 years.

Honored artist of Uzbekistan Ravshan Namozov was born on July 10, 1961 in the city of Termiz, Surkhandarya region.

He graduated from the Termiz School of Music and took lessons from his father, Abdurakhmon Namozov and Shakir Makhmudov.

The singer began his career in the group “Qars”, which was founded in 1989. The singer, who has been working solo since 1991, was awarded the title of Honored Artist of Uzbekistan in 1993.

He is well known to listeners with modern surkhan songs. His songs such as “Chipradalli”, “Kovushim”, “Yor-yor yoron-ey”, “Biyo-biyo”, and “Khayol” have won the hearts of art fans.
