Uzbekistan Airways and Malaysia Airlines Renew Codeshare Partnership

Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: Uzbekistan Airways and Malaysia Airlines have officially announced the restoration of their codeshare partnership, providing enhanced travel opportunities for passengers and opening up new destinations across Southeast and Central Asia. This renewed agreement underscores the airlines’ commitment to offering convenient travel options and strengthening their route networks in response to the growing demand for international air travel.

As part of the renewed partnership, Malaysia Airlines will introduce its flight code, MH, on the Tashkent – Kuala Lumpur route, which is currently operated by Uzbekistan Airways. This marks Malaysia Airlines’ entry into the Central Asian market and provides passengers with a direct connection to the region.

In return, Uzbekistan Airways will add its flight code, HY, to selected routes operated by Malaysia Airlines, expanding its reach. Passengers will now have the opportunity to easily access popular resort destinations such as Langkawi and Kota Kinabalu via Kuala Lumpur, unlocking new travel options to explore the landscapes and attractions of Southeast Asia.

This collaboration highlights the airlines’ shared goal of facilitating international travel while strengthening bilateral connectivity between the two regions.
