Uzbekistan, Iran and Turkmenistan discuss to sign MoU for International Transport Corridor

Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: Representatives of the Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development of Iran took part in the negotiations via video conference.
According to the Ministry, at the meeting, the parties discussed accelerating the signing of an agreement between the governments of Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, and Iran on organizing an international transport corridor, reducing fees for international road transport through Iran.
Special attention was paid to possibly using the ports “Bandar Abbas” and “Chabahar” to export and import cargo and develop the international transport corridor Uzbekistan – Afghanistan – Iran.
