Uzbekistan–Pakistan Business Forum in Lahore Highlights Investment Opportunities in Tashkent Region
Lahore, The Gulf Observer: The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Pakistan, in collaboration with the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), organized the Uzbekistan–Pakistan Business Forum to showcase the investment potential of Uzbekistan’s Tashkent region and strengthen bilateral economic ties.
The forum brought together Governor of the Tashkent region Zoir Mirzaev, representatives of the Punjab business community, and more than 120 entrepreneurs and representatives of leading companies from Uzbekistan and Pakistan.
During the event, detailed presentations were delivered highlighting the Tashkent region’s investment opportunities across various sectors. The forum also featured business-to-business (B2B) meetings aimed at fostering partnerships and exploring avenues for joint ventures between companies from the two countries.
As a result of the discussions and negotiations, several agreements were reached to implement mutually beneficial joint projects, reflecting the growing interest of businesses from both sides in expanding cooperation.
Speaking on the occasion, Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Pakistan, His Excellency Alisher Tukhtaev, expressed confidence that such initiatives would play a significant role in enhancing economic collaboration and further strengthening the longstanding friendship between Uzbekistan and Pakistan.
