Uzbek President lays flowers at the Independence Monument

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev laid flowers at the Independence Monument in Yangi O’zbekiston park.

Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev laid flowers at the Independence Monument in Yangi O’zbekiston (New Uzbekistan) Park.

The complex was built in 2021 on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the country’s independence. The monument depicts the most important events in the history of the country, the images of our great scientists and commanders. The monument is crowned with the Humo bird.

“The Independence Monument is a majestic symbol of ancient history and rich culture, humanism, courage and bravery of our people”, Shavkat Mirziyoyev noted.

Representatives of the Legislative Chamber and the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, the Presidential Administration, the Cabinet of Ministers, and representatives of the public of the city of Tashkent also attended the ceremony and laid flowers at the monument.
