Vietnam Motor Show 2024 to Spotlight Electric Vehicles and Green Energy Transition
HCM City, The Gulf Observer: The highly anticipated Vietnam Motor Show 2024 will not only present the latest automotive innovations but will also feature a seminar titled “Electrifying Transportation Towards Green Energy Transition,” as announced by the event’s organizers during a press conference in HCM City on Thursday.
The show, scheduled to take place from October 23 to 27, will focus on key topics including the “Proper Use of Euro 5 Fuel” and “Electrified Vehicles: Hybrid Technology.” Experts will offer insights on current trends and the potential for electric vehicles, while also discussing solutions for green energy to reduce emissions and promote sustainable growth in the automotive sector.
Organized by the Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers Association (VAMA), the Vehicle Importers Vietnam Association (VIVA), and the Vietnam Association of Motorcycle Manufacturers (VAMM), the event will showcase 19 renowned automobile and motorcycle brands, along with over 50 supporting industry brands. Leading participants include GAC, Isuzu, Mitsubishi, Honda, Skoda, Subaru, Suzuki, Toyota, MG, and BYD, among others.
Attendees can explore the latest electric and hybrid vehicle models, equipped with cutting-edge technology, and partake in interactive test-driving activities. Nakano Keita, Chairman of VAMA, highlighted the growing potential of Vietnam’s automotive industry, particularly with the shift towards electric and hybrid vehicles, noting that the event will cater to diverse consumer preferences amidst changing economic conditions.
Đỗ Xuân Quân, Sales Director of GAC Motor Vietnam, shared that GAC Motor aims to introduce its technological strengths to the Vietnamese market and capitalize on the evolving consumer demand for versatile and convenient automotive solutions.
