Xi Jinping Accepts President Berdimuhamedov’s Invitation to Visit Turkmenistan
Beijing, The Gulf Observer: President of China Xi Jinping has accepted the invitation of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to pay a state visit to Turkmenistan.
The invitation was extended by Turkmen President during his meeting with Xi Jinping at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on Friday, according to the official Turkmen media.
The dates of the visit will be agreed through diplomatic channels, according to the report.
During the talks, Chinese President Xi Jinping also extended an invitation to Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the Chairman of Halk Maslakhaty chamber of the Turkmenistan’s bicameral parliament Milli Gengesh, to visit China at any convenient time.
The two-day state visit of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to China took place on January 5-6. After the talks with Xi Jinping, the Head of Turkmenistan met with Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China Li Keqiang and Chairman of the Standing Committee of China’s National People’s Congress Li Zhanshu.
