Xi Jinping Chairs CPC Leadership Meeting on Environmental and Disciplinary Inspections

Beijing, The Gulf Observer: Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, presided over a leadership meeting on Monday to review regulations related to ecological and environmental protection inspections.

The meeting, held by the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, also assessed a report on the fourth round of disciplinary inspections conducted by the 20th CPC Central Committee.

Officials acknowledged the progress made in ecological protection efforts, highlighting the resolution of major environmental issues and improved accountability among government authorities. The meeting underscored the importance of strict environmental oversight and adherence to Party directives to build a “Beautiful China.”

Regarding disciplinary inspections, the meeting identified key challenges within central Party and state institutions. Officials stressed the need for comprehensive rectifications to align with the Party Central Committee’s objectives.

With 2025 being a crucial year for broadening disciplinary inspections, the CPC leadership reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening governance and ensuring effective policy implementation for China’s modernization.
