Xi Stresses High-Quality Development Through Party-Wide Discipline Education Achievements

Beijing, The Gulf Observer: Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, has emphasized the importance of leveraging the outcomes of the Party-wide discipline education campaign to drive China’s high-quality development. In a recent directive, Xi, who also serves as Chinese President and Chairman of the Central Military Commission, highlighted the campaign’s positive results and called for intensified efforts to eliminate corruption.

The directive was read at a meeting of the Central Leading Group for Party Building, held on Friday. Xi underscored the necessity of eradicating environments conducive to corruption and implementing more effective measures to curb and ultimately eliminate corrupt practices. He urged Party members and officials to maintain a diligent work ethic, adhere strictly to regulations, and uphold Party discipline.

The meeting, presided over by Cai Qi, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and head of the Central Leading Group for Party Building, reviewed new guidelines aimed at advancing regular and long-term Party discipline education. These guidelines are intended to further integrate discipline education into the daily activities, management, and supervision of Party members and officials.

Li Xi, another member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and deputy head of the Central Leading Group for Party Building, also attended the meeting.

The current round of the Party discipline education campaign, which began in April, has officially concluded, according to the meeting. Moving forward, efforts will be focused on embedding the principles of discipline education into the routine governance of Party members to ensure continuous adherence to the CPC’s core values and objectives.
