Yahya Sinwar Appointed as New Political Chief of Hamas

Gaza City, The Gulf Observer: The Palestinian resistance group Hamas has announced the appointment of Yahya Sinwar as its new political chief. This change in leadership comes following the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh by Israel.

Haniyeh was killed in Tehran on July 31, shortly after attending the swearing-in ceremony of Iran’s new president. His death marks a significant escalation in the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas.
