UAE Delegation Attends Inauguration of Iranian President Pezeshkian
Tehran, The Gulf Observer: On behalf of UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, led the UAE delegation at the inauguration ceremony of Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The ceremony took place today in Tehran.
The delegation accompanying H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed included:
- Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy
- Mohammed Hassan Al Suwaidi, Minister of Investment
- Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar, Minister of State
- Dr. Ali Rashid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Defense, Interior and Foreign Affairs Committee at the Federal National Council (FNC)
- Dr. Tariq Humaid Al Tayer, First Deputy Speaker of the FNC
- Saif Mohammed Al Zaabi, UAE Ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Iran
The inauguration ceremony, held at the Iranian Parliament headquarters, was attended by representatives from various countries. During the event, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed conveyed the congratulations of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and extended his best wishes for Dr. Pezeshkian’s success in serving his country and fulfilling the aspirations of its people.
In his meeting with President Masoud Pezeshkian, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed emphasized the UAE’s desire to enhance bilateral relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran. He highlighted the importance of collaboration between the two nations for the benefit of their peoples and the promotion of peace, security, and stability in the region.
Upon arrival in Tehran for the inauguration, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed was accorded an official reception.
