Chinese President Xi Jinping to Attend Forum on China-Africa Cooperation

Beijing, The Gulf Observer: Chinese President Xi Jinping will attend the opening ceremony of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) on September 5, where he will deliver a keynote speech, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying announced on Friday.

As part of the summit, President Xi will also host a welcoming banquet and participate in bilateral events with the leaders of FOCAC’s African member states. Representatives from relevant African regional organizations and international bodies invited to the summit will also be in attendance, Hua said.

The Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, a key platform for strengthening ties between China and African nations, is expected to further enhance the strategic partnership between the two regions, promoting cooperation in various fields.
