NLPD Holds Kashmir Solidarity Day Event in Islamabad

Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: The Institution for the Promotion of National Language (NLPD), Islamabad, organized an event in commemoration of Kashmir Solidarity Day. The event was presided over by the Director General of the Institution, Professor Dr. Muhammad Saleem Mazhar, who expressed gratitude to the distinguished guests while reaffirming support for Pakistan’s official stance on Kashmir. He emphasized the nation’s unwavering commitment—intellectually, politically, and morally—to the cause of Kashmir.

Dr. Mazhar highlighted that both the people and government of Pakistan continue to advocate for a just resolution to the Kashmir issue on every platform. “Whether it is Kashmir or Palestine, we stand with the oppressed worldwide to promote peace and justice,” he stated, further asserting that the matter should be resolved in accordance with United Nations resolutions.

Dr. Rashid Hamid, Executive Director of the Institution, underscored that the division of the subcontinent remains an incomplete agenda, as Kashmir is neither geographically nor culturally a part of India. He noted that the ongoing tensions between Pakistan and India stem primarily from this unresolved dispute. He reiterated Pakistan’s firm stance against India’s suppression and exploitation of Kashmir, expressing hope that the sacrifices of the Kashmiri people would eventually lead to their freedom.

The event concluded with prayers for the martyrs of Kashmir and the ultimate liberation of the region.
