Oman Participates in Inauguration Ceremony of Pope Leo XIV at the Vatican

Vatican City, The Gulf Observer: The Sultanate of Oman took part in the official inauguration ceremony of His Holiness Pope Leo XIV, held at St. Peter’s Square in Vatican City. The high-profile event drew the attendance of numerous heads of state, senior officials, and world leaders, marking a significant moment in the global religious and diplomatic landscape.
His Highness Sayyid Nizar bin Al Julanda Al Said, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Italian Republic, represented Oman at the ceremony. On behalf of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, HH Sayyid Nizar conveyed heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to Pope Leo XIV on the occasion of his formal ascension as the head of the Roman Catholic Church.
