Oana Țoiu Underscores Fulbright Program as Bridge Between Romania and the United States

Bucharest, The Gulf Observer: Minister of Foreign Affairs Oana Țoiu participated in an event organized by the Embassy of the United States of America in Bucharest, held at the residence of the US Ambassador and dedicated to the Fulbright Program, ahead of the upcoming academic year. The occasion marked the departure of a new cohort of Romanian scholars to the United States and the arrival of American scholars in Romania.

In her address, the Foreign Minister underscored the Fulbright Program’s significant contribution to strengthening the strategic partnership between Romania and the United States, noting its vital role in building bridges between people, ideas, and cultures.

She expressed appreciation to the Board of Directors of the Romanian-American Fulbright Commission and all partners engaged in the program.

Minister Țoiu further highlighted that since its inception, the Fulbright Program has gone beyond the traditional framework of academic exchanges, serving as a catalyst for dialogue between the two nations, fostering innovation, and nurturing the next generation of leaders.
