Romanian Ambassador H.E. Dan Stoenescu Condemns Imambargah Attack in Islamabad

Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: H.E. Dan Stoenescu, Ambassador of Romania to Pakistan, has strongly condemned the attack on an Imambargah in Islamabad that occurred during Friday prayers, resulting in the loss of innocent lives and injuries to several others.

In a statement, Ambassador Stoenescu expressed deep sorrow over the tragic incident, extending condolences to the families of the victims and conveying solidarity with those injured. He emphasized that such acts of violence against places of worship are unacceptable and undermine peace and social harmony.

The Romanian envoy also confirmed that, according to available information, no Romanian citizens were affected by the attack.

Romania reaffirmed its solidarity with Pakistan in the face of terrorism and violence, and expressed continued support for efforts aimed at promoting peace, tolerance, and security.
