President Emomali Rahmon Congratulates Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev on Zayed Award

Baku, The Gulf Observer: President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon has extended warm congratulations to Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, on being conferred the prestigious Zayed Award for Human Fraternity.
In his congratulatory message, President Rahmon described the award as a clear recognition of President Aliyev’s consistent efforts and firm commitment to promoting tolerance, constructive policies, and lasting peace and stability. He noted that the honor reflects Azerbaijan’s broader role in advancing dialogue and cooperation at regional and international levels.
The Tajik leader also welcomed the signing of a peace agreement between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia, calling it a historic and significant milestone. He said the agreement would contribute to strengthening friendly relations and mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries, while consolidating peace and security in the Caucasus region and beyond.
Reaffirming Tajikistan’s stance as a peace-loving nation, President Rahmon emphasized his country’s support for resolving conflicts exclusively through political and diplomatic means. He described the peace agreement as a constructive and positive achievement with far-reaching implications.
