Azerbaijan Advises Citizens to Avoid Travel to Iran Amid Rising Regional Tensions

Baku, The Gulf Observer: Amid heightened tensions between the State of Israel and the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan has urged Azerbaijani citizens to refrain from traveling to Iran and called on those currently in the country to leave via Azerbaijan or Türkiye.
In an official statement, the ministry advised citizens to strictly observe safety precautions, avoid places of mass gatherings, follow the instructions of local authorities, and regularly monitor updates from official information sources.
The ministry also provided emergency contact details for Azerbaijani diplomatic missions in Iran. Citizens requiring assistance are advised to contact the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Iran via email at tehran@mission.mfa.gov.az or by phone at +98 905 523 01 07 and +98 901 884 55 31.
