Oman Ratifies Agreement with Belarus to Establish Joint Cooperation and Investment Committee

Muscat, The Gulf Observer: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has issued Royal Decree No. 45/2026 approving the ratification of an agreement between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Belarus to establish a joint committee for cooperation and investment.

According to the decree, the agreement—originally signed in Minsk on May 19, 2025—has been formally ratified in line with the version attached to the decree.

Article (1) of the Royal Decree stipulates the official ratification of the agreement, while Article (2) mandates that the decree be published in the Official Gazette and enforced from the date of its issuance.

The agreement aims to enhance bilateral cooperation between Oman and Belarus, particularly in the fields of investment and economic collaboration, reflecting both countries’ commitment to strengthening institutional ties and expanding mutually beneficial partnerships.
