President Ilham Aliyev Lays Flowers at Victory Arch in Khankendi on Independence Day

Baku, The Gulf Observer: On the occasion of Azerbaijan’s Independence Day, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev laid flowers at the Victory Arch erected in Victory Park in the city of Khankendi on May 28.

The ceremony was held as part of nationwide celebrations marking Azerbaijan’s Independence Day, commemorated annually on May 28. The Victory Arch, located in Victory Park, stands as a symbol of Azerbaijan’s triumph and national unity.

President Ilham Aliyev paid tribute by laying flowers at the monument, honoring the country’s achievements, sovereignty, and the memory of those who contributed to the nation’s territorial integrity and independence.

The event was attended by officials and participants observing the national holiday celebrations in Khankendi.
