Tajikistan President Inaugurates New Building of Sughd Regional Children’s Clinical Hospital
Dushanbe, The Gulf Observer: President of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon, inaugurated an additional building of the Sughd Regional Children’s Clinical Hospital during his working visit to the cities and districts of Sughd Region, media reported.
Located in Khujand, the seven-storey facility has a total area of 3,204 square metres and is designed to accommodate and provide treatment for up to 200 patients at a time.
The new building includes additional specialised departments and auxiliary facilities, expanding the hospital’s capacity and improving the quality of medical services provided to children.
The facility has been equipped with modern medical equipment, creating improved conditions for healthcare professionals to carry out diagnostic and treatment procedures effectively.
In addition to medical services, the new building provides facilities for scientific and educational activities. Specialised classrooms, as well as a conference hall for training sessions and practical classes, have been established.
During his inspection of the new facility, President Emomali Rahmon praised the quality of the construction work and stressed the government’s continued attention to protecting public health, particularly the health of children and adolescents.
The protection and promotion of children’s health is identified as an important component of Tajikistan’s social policy, contributing to the well-being of the younger generation, improving living standards and supporting the development of a healthy society.
The new building has been designed in accordance with modern healthcare requirements and provides appropriate facilities for receiving patients, conducting medical examinations, ensuring timely diagnosis and administering necessary treatment.
The facility will also create 120 new jobs, providing opportunities for healthcare specialists and improving working conditions for medical personnel.
The inauguration of the new building of the Sughd Regional Children’s Clinical Hospital represents another step in Tajikistan’s efforts to develop healthcare infrastructure and improve the availability and quality of medical services for the population.
