Outgoing Director FM 98 calls on DG Radio Pakistan
Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: Mr. Chan Xiang, the outgoing Director FM 98 Dosti Channel called on Director General Radio Pakistan Muhammad Tahir Hassan at his office.
On this occasion Mr. Chen apprised the Director General about the existing level of cooperation between the China Media Group(CMG) and Radio Pakistan.
He also briefed him about the prospects of enhancing this cooperation in future by saying that there exist vast opportunities for the promotion of cooperation between the two institutions especially in the field of social media.
Enhancenent of cooperation between Radio Pakistan & China Media Group (CMG) came under discussion
On his part the Director General said that Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation was keen to upgrade the quality of its programs and social media platforms by utilizing the experiences of Chinese Media Group. Possible exchange of short documentaries between the two entities was also discussed .
The Director General further said that Radio Pakistan wants to play its role in promoting people to people contacts between the two countries in cooperation with the Chinese media. The newly appointed Director of FM 98 Ms. Hu Pingping also attended the meeting.
