UN High Commissioner for Human Rights to visit Uzbekistan
Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Turk will visit Uzbekistan. The visit of the UN High Commissioner Volker Turk to Uzbekistan will take place from 13 to 15 March.
During the visit, Turk will hold meetings with the heads of the National Center for Human Rights, the Supreme Court, the Prosecutor General’s Office, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Justice, as well as the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Oliy Majlis (Ombudsman).
The UN High Commissioner for Human Rights is expected to visit Karakalpakstan.
