China commits to opening-up to global market: Chinese Vice President
Beijing, The Gulf Observer: Chinese Vice President Han Zheng met with the Tsinghua University School of Economics and Management advisory board in Beijing on Tuesday.
Han said that the goal of the Communist Party of China (CPC) is to ensure a better life for the population of over 1.4 billion Chinese people. The central task of the CPC is to advance the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation on all fronts through a Chinese path to modernization, he added.
China will adhere to the path of prosperity for all, promote harmony between humanity and nature, and commit to high-quality development, which are the essential requirements of Chinese modernization, Han stressed.
Han said that China will commit to the fundamental national policy of opening up, continue to expand market access, optimize the business environment, and work together with global companies to maintain the stability of the global industrial and supply chains.
The board members, including Apple CEO Tim Cook who is also president of the advisory board, and Blackstone Group CEO Stephen Schwarzman, welcome the new opportunities brought about by Chinese modernization. They look forward to expanding investment in China, in areas including green economy, sustainable development and innovative research.
Han also stressed that education is the cornerstone for national development and revitalization. He hoped that the entrepreneurs could promote exchanges and collaborations in education, science and technology.
