Oman chairs meeting of GCC environment ministers

Al Jabal Al Akhdar, The Gulf Observer: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Environment Authority, chaired the 25th meeting of GCC environment ministers.

During the meeting, held at Al Jabal Al Akhdar in the Wilayat of Al Dakhiliyah, Eng. Salim Nasser Al Aufi, Minister of Energy and Minerals said that Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries accomplished many achievements in various spheres during the council’s march, especially in the environment field.

The meeting resulted in several recommendations, including supporting the efforts of the Sultanate of Oman in preserving frankincense trees, among other recommendations.
