11th Azerbaijan-Türkiye Agricultural Executive Committee Meeting Convenes in Ankara
Ankara, The Gulf Observer: The 11th meeting of the Azerbaijan-Türkiye Agricultural Executive Committee convened in Ankara, marking another significant milestone in the bilateral cooperation between the two nations in the field of agriculture.
During the meeting, both sides deliberated on promising areas for collaboration in the agricultural sector, underlining the shared commitment to enhance agricultural productivity and trade between Azerbaijan and Türkiye.
Following the ministerial meeting between Azerbaijani and Turkish agriculture officials, an expanded session ensued, emphasizing the breadth and depth of cooperation between the two countries.
A pivotal moment came with the signing of the Declaration of Intent on cooperation in agricultural research and development, along with the protocol of the 11th meeting of the Executive Committee, by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of the Republic of Türkiye.
Minister of Agriculture of Azerbaijan, Majnun Mammadov, underscored the significance of bilateral cooperation in agriculture, expressing confidence that the signed documents would further strengthen collaboration and bolster trade ties between the two nations.
Turkish Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, Ibrahim Yumaklı, echoed Mammadov’s sentiments, emphasizing the importance of implementing all items outlined in the Action Plan between the two ministries. Yumaklı reaffirmed Türkiye’s commitment to maintaining an active dialogue with Azerbaijan, emphasizing the paramount importance of cooperation aimed at enhancing agricultural productivity.
The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment from both sides to deepen agricultural cooperation, implement mutually beneficial initiatives, and foster enduring ties that contribute to the prosperity and well-being of both nations.
