President Tokayev Meets Francoise Joly, Highlights Strengthening Ties with Congo

Astana, The Gulf Observer: President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev welcomed Francoise Joly, Personal Representative for Strategic Affairs & International Negotiations of the President of the Republic of the Congo, as reported by the press service of Akorda.

In his remarks, President Tokayev expressed his appreciation for Joly’s visit, viewing it as a genuine interest in developing mutually beneficial relations between Kazakhstan and the Republic of the Congo.

President Tokayev highlighted that the year 2024 marks the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. He reiterated his commitment to strengthening contacts and cooperation with the Republic of the Congo.

Francoise Joly conveyed the best wishes from President Denis Sassou Nguesso of the Republic of the Congo and expressed gratitude for the warm welcome.

The discussions between the two representatives included the forthcoming visit of President Sassou Nguesso to Kazakhstan and explored promising areas for bilateral cooperation.

This meeting signifies a positive step towards enhancing diplomatic and economic ties between Kazakhstan and the Republic of the Congo, paving the way for deeper collaboration in various sectors.
