President Berdimuhamedov Meets Pakistan's Industry Minister

Ashgabat, The Gulf Observer: President Serdar Berdimuhamedov of Turkmenistan received Rana Tanveer Hussain, the Federal Minister of Industry and Production of Pakistan, according to a report from TDH.

During the meeting, Minister Hussain conveyed greetings from the leadership of Pakistan and reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to fostering friendly relations with Turkmenistan. President Serdar Berdimuhamedov reciprocated these sentiments, emphasizing the mutual importance of strengthening bilateral ties.

Both parties acknowledged the constructive nature of their political dialogue and highlighted the progress in cooperation within international organizations. They discussed prospects for partnership in various sectors, including industry, energy, and transportation.

Special attention was given to the advancement of significant regional projects, particularly the TAPI gas pipeline and TAP power transmission lines. These projects were underscored for their crucial role in fostering economic development and stability across the region.

Cultural and humanitarian cooperation between the two countries was also recognized as integral to enhancing bilateral relations.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides expressed confidence in the continued dynamic development of interstate relations.
