“A Place Called Silence” Tops Chinese Mainland Box Office for Seventh Consecutive Day

Beijing, The Gulf Observer: The crime thriller “A Place Called Silence” continued to dominate the Chinese mainland box office on Tuesday, according to the China Movie Data Information Network.

On its seventh day of screening, the film generated a daily box office revenue of 63.5 million yuan (8.9 million U.S. dollars), bringing its total earnings to over 500 million yuan.

Disney’s “Inside Out 2” and the domestic drama “Moments We Shared” maintained their positions in the second and third spots, respectively. “Inside Out 2” earned 7.53 million yuan, while “Moments We Shared” brought in 6.22 million yuan on Tuesday.

The total box office revenue across the Chinese mainland on Tuesday was recorded at 93.42 million yuan.

The sustained performance of “A Place Called Silence” highlights its popularity among Chinese audiences, solidifying its status as a box office success.
