Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir Celebrates Eid with Troops in Wana and D.I. Khan

Wana / Dera Ismail Khan, The Gulf Observer: Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir visited Wana and Dera Ismail Khan on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, where he celebrated the festival with the officers and soldiers stationed along the border.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Army Chief offered Eid prayers with the troops and prayed for Pakistan’s stability and prosperity.
General Asim Munir commended the unwavering dedication and exemplary service of the soldiers to the nation. He also paid tribute to the martyrs and appreciated the contributions of the armed forces, law enforcement agencies, and the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in ensuring peace and stability.
Speaking on the occasion, General Asim Munir highlighted the courage of the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in fighting terrorism, emphasizing that the sacrifices of the martyrs remain the foundation of Pakistan’s success in maintaining peace.
He further stated, “Your commitment and sacrifices are a guarantee of our nation’s security. These sacrifices reflect your deep love for Pakistan.”
