President Ilham Aliyev received the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan

Baku, The Gulf Observer: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Bakit Torobayev.

Speaking about bilateral relations, Ilham Aliyev noted the contribution of high-level mutual visits to the expansion of our relations. In this regard, he said that during the visit of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic to our country this year, effective negotiations were held on the broad agenda of cooperation and a very good personal contact was established between the heads of state.

President Ilham Aliyev stated that within the framework of the visit, discussions were held on strengthening bilateral relations, cooperation in international organizations, Azerbaijan’s investment in Kyrgyzstan and other areas of cooperation.

Noting that a diversified transport infrastructure has been created in our country, the head of state said that other countries, including the countries of Central Asia, are increasingly interested in the international transport potential of Azerbaijan, and at the same time, he also emphasized the importance of plans for the creation of new railway networks in the Central Asian region that go to the Caspian Sea basin. .

Bakit Torobayev, first of all, conveyed the greetings of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov, to the head of our state.

President Ilham Aliyev expressed his gratitude for the greetings and asked to convey his greetings to Sadir Japarov.

The guest noted that Azerbaijan-Kyrgyzstan relations, which are based on historical and cultural roots, were laid by the world-class historical personality, national leader of the Azerbaijani people, Heydar Aliyev, and today, with the support of President Ilham Aliyev, they have reached the level of strategic partnership.

During the conversation, the importance of cooperation in the fields of humanitarian and education was noted, issues of future cooperation related to agriculture, energy, investment were discussed.
