Belgium considers Azerbaijan important partner in EU

Baku, The Gulf Observer: Belgium considers Azerbaijan an important partner in the European Union, said Belgian Foreign Minister Hadja Lahbib, according to media reports.

Speaking at a joint press conference with his Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov in Baku, Lahbib noted that Belgium wants its cooperation with Azerbaijan to develop further.

Praising Azerbaijan’s essential role in Europe’s energy supply, the Belgian minister also thanked Baku for its humanitarian assistance to Ukraine.
