Presidents of Russia and China hold talks in Samarkand
Samarkand, The Gulf Observer: President Vladimir Putin and President Xi Jinping held talks in Samarkand, according to media reports.
Vladimir Putin said Russia highly values balanced position of China on Ukraine crisis.
He said official Moscow adheres to One China policy and condemns the United States for provocations in the Taiwan Strait.
“The tandem of Moscow and Beijing plays a key role in ensuring global and regional stability. We jointly stand for the formation of a just, democratic and multipolar world order based on international rules and the central role of the UN,” the Russian President said.
The Chinese President said China is ready together with Russia to put the changing world on the path of sustainable development.
