CIS Foreign Ministers' Meeting Held in Moscow; Kazakhstan to Host Next Session

Moscow, The Gulf Observer: The Council of Foreign Ministers of Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) member states convened in Moscow, with the Kazakh delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Murat Nurtleu, as reported by NHC.

During the meeting, participants engaged in both restricted and expanded-attendance discussions. The Foreign Ministers debated and adopted a statement on cooperation in physical culture and sports, alongside a comprehensive package of related documents. Additionally, they exchanged views on various aspects of collaboration within the Commonwealth.

The next session of the Council of Foreign Ministers is scheduled to take place in Kazakhstan on April 11, 2025. Earlier in the day, a meeting of the CIS Heads of State Council was also held in Moscow, further emphasizing the ongoing diplomatic engagements among member nations.
