Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Meets Pakistani President to Strengthen Bilateral Ties

Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, held a significant meeting with Asif Ali Zardari, President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, at the Presidential Palace in Islamabad. The discussion focused on enhancing the longstanding bilateral relations and exploring avenues for deeper cooperation between the UAE and Pakistan.
President Asif Ali Zardari warmly welcomed the Crown Prince, underscoring the deep-rooted brotherly ties between the two nations. He reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to advancing cooperation across various sectors to promote mutual interests and sustainable development for both countries.
H.H. Sheikh Khaled conveyed the greetings of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to President Zardari. He expressed His Highness’ best wishes for the President’s good health, as well as for the continued progress and prosperity of Pakistan and its people.
In response, President Zardari extended his greetings to the UAE President, wishing further growth and success for the UAE and its people.
In a gesture of goodwill and recognition, President Zardari awarded H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan the Nishan-e-Pakistan (Order of Pakistan), the nation’s highest civilian honor, in recognition of the Crown Prince’s efforts to strengthen the bilateral ties between the UAE and Pakistan.
H.H. Sheikh Khaled expressed his sincere gratitude for the honor and reaffirmed the UAE’s dedication to enhancing the partnership between the two nations in alignment with shared aspirations.
The meeting also included discussions on further solidifying UAE-Pakistan relations and exploring new collaborative initiatives that would benefit both nations and their peoples. Sheikh Khaled emphasized the UAE’s ongoing commitment to deepening its strategic partnership with Pakistan, highlighting the strong mutual dedication from both leaderships to advancing bilateral relations.
The meeting was attended by several dignitaries, including H.H. Sheikh Zayed bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of 2PointZero; Sheikh Khalifa bin Tahnoon bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Court; and other high-ranking officials from the UAE, such as Ali Mohammed Hammad Al Shamsi, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for National Security, and Hamad Obaid Alzaabi, Ambassador of the UAE to Pakistan. Several prominent business leaders were also present, underscoring the importance of strengthening UAE-Pakistan economic ties.
