The list of short films that will participate in the competition sections of the festival will be announced on October 25.
It should be noted that the main award of the Baku International Short Film Festival is “Golden Pomegranate”. In addition to “Golden Pomegranate”, the festival presents special awards and diplomas to winners in some categories. The Baku International Short Film Festival, founded by the Center of Young Cinematographers, has been persistently going for 14 years. The goal includes increasing interest in short films, which are considered to be one of the foundations of cinematography in our country, and encouraging and supporting young cinematographers. Among the films sent to the festival, there are also films that won awards and success at the Cannes, Venice, Berlin Film Festivals, and at the Oscars. Films with a different approach compete in the competition section of the festival.
