Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: The First Ministerial Meeting of OIC-15 Dialogue Platform held at Almaty, Kazakhstan. The meeting was attended by the ministers and delegations from Kazakhstan, Qatar, Cameroon, Morocco, Iran, Pakistan, Azerbaijan, UAE, Indonesia and Turkiye along with the COMSTECH Secretariat and OIC General Secretariat.

H.E. Mr. Sayasat Nurbek, Minister of Science and Higher Education, Kazakhstan, chaired the meeting. After the adoption of the agenda, the heads of country delegations, COMSTECH Secretariat, OIC General Secretariat and Kaznu Al-Farabi University delivered their speeches.

Prof. Dr. M. Iqbal Choudhury, Coordinator General COMSTECH held bilateral meetings with the Minister of Science and Higher Education of Kazakhstan and the Rector of Kaznu Al-Farabi University

The meeting deliberated upon the recommendations of the expert committee and adopted the Almaty Rules and Regulations of OIC-15 Dialogue Platform.

Prof. Dr. M. Iqbal Choudhury, Coordinator General COMSTECH along with his delegation held bilateral meetings with the Minister of Science and Higher Education of Kazakhstan and the Rector of Kaznu Al-Farabi University. It was agreed to enhance future collaborations and develop joint programs for the development of science and technology in the OIC region.
