Iranian Delegation Participates in BRICS Agriculture Ministers Meeting

Moscow, The Gulf Observer: The 14th Meeting of the BRICS Ministers of Agriculture took place in Moscow, with the participation of an Iranian delegation. The meeting, held on Friday, saw representatives from Brazil, China, India, South Africa, and new members Iran, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, and Ethiopia.

The agenda focused on the development of sustainable agriculture, the establishment of the BRICS grain exchange, and other pertinent issues. These discussions aimed at enhancing agricultural cooperation and ensuring food security among BRICS nations and their new partners.

The Iranian delegation was led by Alireza Mohajer, a senior official from the Ministry of Agricultural Jihad. Iran’s involvement in the meeting underscores its commitment to contributing to and benefiting from the collective efforts in sustainable agriculture within the BRICS framework.
