Iranian President congratulates President Xi on National Day

Tehran, The Gulf Observer: Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi has extended a message of congratulations to Chinese President Xi Jinping and the people of the People’s Republic of China on the occasion of their National Day on October 1.

President Raisi expressed satisfaction over the growing ties between Tehran and Beijing, highlighting the 25-year document on comprehensive cooperation between the two nations as a beacon for future relations.

The Iranian president underscored the significance of international and regional coordination between Iran and China, noting Iran’s recent accession to the BRICS emerging economies of Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa, as well as the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

These developments, he said, have created a new atmosphere for fostering bilateral ties to advance multilateralism.

Raisi’s message conveyed hope for further strengthening of ties between Iran and China.

October 1 is celebrated in China as it marks the declaration of the establishment of the People’s Republic of China in 1949.
