Iranian President Pezeshkian Arrives in Azerbaijan to Attend 17th ECO Summit

Fuzuli, The Gulf Observer: President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, arrived in Azerbaijan on Thursday to participate in the 17th Summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO).

Upon his arrival at Fuzuli International Airport, a formal guard of honor was held in recognition of the high-level visit.

President Pezeshkian was warmly welcomed by Azerbaijan’s Minister of Culture, Adil Karimli, the Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Aghdam, Fuzuli, and Khojavend districts, Emin Huseynov, along with other senior officials.

The 17th ECO Summit is expected to bring together heads of state and government from member countries to discuss key regional cooperation initiatives in areas such as trade, transportation, energy, and cultural exchange. President Pezeshkian’s participation underscores Iran’s commitment to enhancing regional economic integration and strengthening ties with neighboring states.
