ECO Leaders Attend “Victory” Karabakh Horse Show at Imarat Historical Complex in Aghdam

Aghdam, The Gulf Observer: On July 3, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov, President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Ersin Tatar, and other dignitaries attending the 17th Summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO), participated in a cultural event showcasing the heritage and valor of the Karabakh region.

Held at the “Imarat” Historical-Architectural Museum Complex in the city of Aghdam, the event featured the “Victory” show of Karabakh horses, a symbolic celebration of Azerbaijan’s cultural identity and national pride.

Prior to the performance, President Aliyev welcomed the distinguished guests, and the leaders engaged in friendly conversation over tea.

The show commenced with a vibrant display of national music performed by a military orchestra, accompanied by traditional dances by the “Sarhadchi” dance ensemble. The highlight of the event was a powerful performance by the cavalry unit of the State Border Service, who demonstrated exceptional bravery, precision, and horsemanship on Karabakh horses, a breed renowned for its elegance and strength.

The event captivated the audience and was widely praised for its artistic presentation and patriotic spirit, reflecting the enduring cultural legacy of the Karabakh region.

Following the performance, the ECO leaders and guests took a sightseeing tour of Aghdam by bus, witnessing the ongoing reconstruction and revitalization efforts in the city.
