Iranian President Visits Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque

Muscat, The Gulf Observer: President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian of the Islamic Republic of Iran visited the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque on Wednesday as part of his official visit to the Sultanate of Oman.
Upon their arrival, President Pezeshkian and his accompanying delegation were warmly received by Habib Mohammed Al Riyami, Chairman of the Sultan Qaboos Higher Centre for Culture and Science.
During the visit, the Iranian President and his delegation were provided with an informative briefing on the mosque’s rich history and its distinctive Omani and Islamic architectural designs.
The Iranian President then toured various facilities of the mosque, including the library, lecture hall, and other key areas, gaining deeper insights into its role in promoting Islamic studies and culture.
At the conclusion of his visit, President Pezeshkian signed the VIP visitors’ register, expressing his admiration for the mosque’s stunning architectural artistry and its remarkable contributions to Islamic architecture.
The visit was attended by several officials from both Iran and Oman.
