Iron Maiden Rocks Prague with 50th Anniversary Show Before 60,000 Fans

Prague, The Gulf Observer: British heavy metal giants Iron Maiden marked their 50th anniversary in spectacular fashion, delivering a high-octane performance to an estimated 60,000 fans at Letňany Airport in Prague as part of their Run for Your Lives Tour.

The milestone concert featured a career-spanning setlist with songs from nine different albums, including rarely performed tracks such as Murders in the Rue Morgue and Phantom of the Opera. According to the band’s longtime manager Rod Smallwood, these deep cuts may not return to future live setlists, making the evening a once-in-a-lifetime experience for devoted fans.

The show, known for its elaborate stage design and signature theatrics, concluded with crowd-pleasers The Trooper and Fear of the Dark, igniting a thunderous response from the massive audience.

American rock band Halestorm opened the evening, setting the tone for a night of powerful performances and heavy metal nostalgia.

Iron Maiden’s 50-year legacy continues to resonate with global audiences, proving that their influence on rock and metal remains as potent as ever.
