Israeli Air Strikes Kill 27 Palestinians in Gaza

Gaza City, The Gulf Observer: At least 27 more Palestinians have been killed in a series of Israeli air strikes across the Gaza Strip, according to local medics. The latest casualties come as health officials resumed a critical vaccination campaign targeting tens of thousands of children in the enclave against polio.

In Nuseirat, one of Gaza’s eight historic refugee camps, an Israeli air strike claimed the lives of two women and two children, according to medical reports. In Gaza City, eight more Palestinians were killed in two separate strikes. The remainder of the casualties occurred in subsequent air strikes across various locations in the enclave, local sources confirmed.

Despite the ongoing violence, health authorities have resumed efforts to vaccinate children against polio, aiming to protect tens of thousands amid the continuing conflict. The vaccination campaign had been previously suspended due to the intensified hostilities, but officials are pushing forward with the initiative to prevent a public health crisis.

The escalation of violence continues to exacerbate the humanitarian situation in Gaza, with widespread calls from international organizations for an immediate ceasefire to protect civilians and ensure the provision of essential services, including healthcare.
