Italian University Delegation to Visit Uzbekistan for Joint Education Forum

Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: A high-level delegation of over 20 university rectors from Italy, led by Italian Minister of Universities and Research Anna Maria Bernini, will visit Uzbekistan from September 23 to 27, marking a significant step in enhancing bilateral academic collaboration.

As part of the visit, a joint education forum will be held in Tashkent on September 24, bringing together representatives from more than 20 leading Italian universities and 46 top universities of Uzbekistan. This forum, being organized for the first time, aims to strengthen inter-university cooperation between the two countries.

The forum’s agenda will focus on student and professor exchanges, teacher training initiatives, and support for joint research projects. A series of cooperation agreements are expected to be signed between Italian and Uzbek universities during the event, laying the groundwork for future academic and research collaboration.

The visit reflects the growing academic ties between Italy and Uzbekistan and is seen as a major step forward in fostering innovation, educational excellence, and research partnerships between the two nations.
